Fall is quickly drawing near!
The month of September is sure to be busy with end-of Summer activities, the start of the school year and the beginning of the Fall season! Events will soon be filling the calendar, but don't forget the holidays celebrated this month, including Labor Day on the 6th and Patriot Day on the 11th! Labor Day is a great time to take one last Summer vacation, so enjoy this time with friends and family!

The Sterling Fair
The 2-1/2 day, family-oriented, community fair with the emphasis on agriculture and education runs September 10th, 11th & 12th.
Hours
Fri: 5pm – 11pm (Fireworks – 9:45pm)
Sat: 9am – 11pm (Pancake Breakfast at 8am)
Sun: 9am – 5pm (Pancake Breakfast at 8am)

Admission & Parking:
Admission and parking at the Sterling Fair is FREE. However, the fair relies on the sale of buttons, T-shirts, and ads to keep it free. Support your fair with a purchase or donation!
The Sterling Fair is sponsored in cooperation with the Massachusetts Department of Food and Agriculture, and it is a member of the Massachusetts Agricultural Fairs Association.

Town Wide Yard Sale
The First Church in Sterling is sponsoring the fifth annual Sterling Town Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, September 18, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain or shine). The $2 yard sale map will enable you to search for bargains at multiple sites – in the past four years there have been 50 to 80 sites registered each year! Maps will be available at the town common on the day of the sale
from 7:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If you would like your yard sale listed on the map, you may obtain a registration form at the Conant Public Library, the Town Hall, or online at www.fcsterling.org. The deadline for
Registration is September 10. The registration fee is $20 for a sale in your own yard, or $25 for space on the town common. There is a limited amount of space on the common.

Farmers' Market
The Sterling Farmers’ Market is held on Fridays from 3 to 6:30 p.m., rain or shine, at the Butterick Municipal Building, 1 Park St., Sterling. It will continue through October.
Some of the products are fresh local produce, herbs, goat cheese, baked goods, honey, handmade soap, fudge, herbal goods, and more.
